NEET Cut off 2019: National Test Agency (NTA) will release the NEET Cut off along with the declaration of NEET result on June 5. As per last year, NEET cut off, candidates belonging to UR category are required to score at least 119 marks (out of 720) in order to qualify NEET 2019, while OBC/SC/ST category candidates need a minimum of 96 marks to qualify.

  1. NEET Merit List will now be used to allot seats in veterinary colleges for undergraduate courses like BVSc. and Animal Husbandry under 15% All India Quota.

  2. NEET Result will be applicable for admissions to all medical colleges of India except for AIIMS and JIPMER, which conduct their own medical entrance exams.

  3. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will now participate in 15% All India Quota Counselling and don’t need to submit a self-declaration form anymore.

  4. For admission into UG courses in AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy), students must appear for NEET.

  • Suppose, you have scored Rank 50 in NEET and the total number of students appeared are 6, 00,000.

  • The percentile will be: [600000-50)/600000] X 100 = 99.99

  • You need to get 50 percentile for admission in Medical/Dental colleges.
